College and Degree Humboldt State University BA –Liberal Arts/ Multiple Subject Minor in PE

Teaching Experience 2 plus years school in private Christian schools Grades 1st through 6th one-room class, also Jr/Sr High Physical Education. 4 years PE in Middle School. 5th grade full time and part-time after children were born. One long year in a 1st grade job share. Twin Creeks Science Prep teacher. Taught Summer school special classes in Math and Drama. Currently teaching at Venture school part-time on my Bollinger Canyon off days.

Non-School teaching experiences: Coached Basketball (CYO), and softball. Head Wrangler for a Christian Camp and started their Jr. Wrangler program, Worked with college students for two years through Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship.

Hobbies/Interests Crafts, sculpture and fine Art. Gardening, hiking and sports. Horseback riding. Vocal music and dance. Reading and Biblical Studies.

Little Known Interesting Fact or Information about me: My maiden name is Longmire This was the pioneer family that settled Washington and owned Mt. Rainer. I’ve played 7 different musical instruments, oboe being the main instrument, from Jr. High School through college.
