The Bollinger Canyon Education Fund working in Collaboration with the PTA, Site Council and Staff perform a vital function in raising funds that are essential to creating an effective learning environment for all students. The President of the Ed Fund this current school year is Nick Worth.

The Bollinger Canyon Education Fund (BCEF) would like to thank all of the parents and friends of Bollinger Canyon Elementary School for their continued support of the BCEF. Your generous donations during registration have put us well on track towards our goal of raising more than $151,000 to support this year’s committed programs.

The BCEF is an affiliate of the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation and our goal is to raise money to “improve the educational environment” for all of our children at Bollinger Canyon Elementary. We raise this money through direct donations, employer matching programs, and through fund raisers. The BCEF board then pays the San Ramon Valley Unified School District to employ in-class Teachers Aides, our Librarian, our Drama and Musicals Teacher and our Art Teacher. And new for this year, the BCEF is pledging money to help support the new computer lab program that Mrs. Wells has established. Without your support these teachers and their programs simply would not exist at our school.

The BCEF board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the teachers’ break room at school. Everyone is welcome to attend and we can always use additional help throughout the year. If you would still like to make a contribution to the BCEF you can do so by dropping off a check at the school office or you can contact any of the board members.

On behalf of the BCEF board and our children, thank you again for your generous support.

Nick Worth
